The newest reality tv show "the casino" is all about the ins and outs of the casino business at the one and only GOLDEN NUGGET hotel and casino.

I know just about everyone that works there and i cant wait to see whats goin on since ive been gone.

My friend Daphne McCann is one of the main characters on the show...she is one of the asst Hotel ops mgrs. Shes a nice girl but drama follows her everywhere, guess thats why they featured her! (not a big surprise)..Could i tell u some stories bout her...she even showed me her boobs once in the bathroom after her boob job...she was always looking for approval;) really tho her boss's boss's boss was also my direct boss... i was the exec asst to the vp of the hotel. so no one got thru to him w out going thru me... hence i dealt with alot of ppl all the time that would just bout do anything to get 5 min with him.

The Golden Nugget was my very favorite job EVER. I was so spoiled there... It will be bitter sweet to watch this series starting Monday june 14...

Madrid trip

Yea ben posted all about his possibly going to spain this summer for a month...blahblahblah...but the real deal was this...I was going to Madrid for 6wks to do a project...It was a screenwriting/directing project... First 3 wks u write & the second 3 wks u direct/produce the piece... I had to write an intro to a short film to get accepted and when i was accepted we started planning the trip...Ben applied as my companion and the ball was semi rolling...WELL...due to complicated circumstances we areNOT going... It works out for the best bc ben got a new job anyway...AND i have some personal things going on that wont allow me to go...

The reason for bringing this up is this... Dr. Lavendar called me today and let me know that I was one of the recipients of the ambassador's award...which would mean that i would have to be a host or some shit and that ben and I couldnt just up and go as we wish...we'd have to attend all the events and I WOULDNOT LIKE THAT!!! I had an itinerary that i wanted to stick by to the hr...I have a friend that is from Valencia and is going to be back home there this summer and we were going to stay w/him for one of our four day excursions and he was gonna take us to all of the local spots and if we went now we wouldnt get to do that! SOOO everything works out for the best and not only that but i would rather go to italy anyway...my aunt has property in Palermo which of course is in the region of Sicily and ben says he wants nothing more than to spend time w/ me in Rome! ( i AM 1/2 dago ya know!) My sisters and my mom and her 2 sisters want to go too... BUT...i dunno that might be too many dago women on one plane for me..so ill stick to going w ben for now!! i hope we go soooon

Today was an eventful Father's Day! I guess it's one I'll NEVER forget! Im a wreck and i cant really say much more for now! I hope that everyone i miss is healthy and happy! LIFE IS STRANGE!! I had to pull a tick off Elmo today! It was a lil one but GROSS just thinking bout it...u woulda thought i was doing major surgery..i had rubber gloves and all! POOR LIL ELMO! I DID GO SURFING W BEN FINALLY!!! Everytime we've been to the beach (Pcola beach) which we've been goin since last MAY ...we've always had the girls and they dont let me away from their sides...we only had Brittany and shes old enuf to handle it herself...
ok so i body boarded w Brittany for a while...we got our butts kicked by the waves breaking (ben just says the 'break')...then i was ready to use the real board; SO Ben and i paddled out...he used the body board cause we only brought one of his boards. SOOOO i paddled out...w him and i made it ok past the 'break' and i felt ok...its even hard to sit on the board (very slippery and wobbly)...i paddle hard forward when he told me to go and i did good the first time...then i paddled back out to him and the second wave came way to fast i wasnt ready and the nose of the board went under while i was on it...and i was supposed to fall right or left of the board and it all happened too fast and i flew over the board and i slammed into the sea floor and the board knocked my head 1/2 off!!!!!:):) it was FUNNY really...it didnt really hurt till bout 1/2 hr later...but i got up and got the board back and paddled back out to ben...then i got another good one and went pretty far but on the way back to ben the 'break' kept knockin me down...like 3 in a row and ben started yellin' go go go or move move move i dunno, i was like dazed and confused and exhausted...and i said fuk it im goin to shore...hahahahhaha i got my ass kiked ENUF for one day. ...it was a blast tho...it was bout an hr worth of brutality...and it was a GOOD work out! Ben even said i looked cute paddlin out!...

SO then Brittany came to shore off her body board w me and she was screaming "DAD..DAD.. shes bleeding...shes bleeding" i was laughin my ass off at her tellin her to shhhhh bc i didnt want ppl to think i was really hurt...ive gotten scarred up at EVERY sport ive played and i played quite a few even thru and beyond high school...i was fine really and she was freakin...she went out and demanded ben come in and ck out my head...by then i was ready for a drink and some seaFOOD...and so that was it really and it ROCKED...i will return to the ocean...and kik its ass...yea right i hope i dont die out there ;)

i miss my sisters sooo much!
They are SO beautiful and so incredibly 'TOGETHER'...
Being the oldest of two very POPULAR little sisters has been a love/hate situation all of my life. I am four years older than Lori and 6 yrs older than Leah. I was NOT in a 'click' when i was in school...i was friends w/ jocks, nerds, cheerleaders (infact my best friend was head cheerleader), rocker boys, stoners, u name it! My sisters were really the same except they were the ones winning all of the awards like favorite this and best that, homecoming maid...yadayada...I didNOT participate in school stuff much at all in highschool...MY opinion of the ppl i went to school with was this: The majority of them were redneck idiots that wanted to do nothing but fight! so anyway...i never had a problem with anyone... I just didnt fit in with that kind of crowd....thats when i started hangin out w ben...i was 15 when i met him! he and all of his friends were NOT the fighting redneck jocks..they were kinda like todays lil skater boys...but mostly they just hung out at the beach and had parties all of the time! They were fun and their motto was 'lover not fighter'...But anyway...

Leah is a 2nd grade teacher in Bay St. Louis...She is awesome with children...she is going to grad school in the fall part time. she wants to counsel children thru art therapy...she has already done a yr in Atlanta with Americorp...She was a counselor in the Atlanta inner city elementary school system...she would walk her kids home if they had no ride(in inner city atlanta)...She is so much like me...I love kids and ive done alot of travelling and I was a mentor in the inner city new orleans elementary school system...

Anyway...we are all so damn close and we will KILL if someone messes with the other...in that case we throw all logic and emotional intellect aside an the irish/italian temper comes out full force...Its weird!

My middle sister Lori went to LSU she was there when shaq was there! She also was in a grad program there for a while but shes thinking bout going back to an Ultrasound program? Right now she's looking for a job in pharmacuetical sales and she's working in marketing at beau rivage!

Its weird bc we all live on the coast for the first time in like 4yrs and we NEVER see each other...well we see ea other every week, but we dont get to spend quality time together like we used to...None of us have kids and we're all single...but our lives still seem chaotic...All of us have serious boyfriends tho and so we dont go out as much...i miss it.. there is NOTHING like hanging out with them.. they know ME...they KNOW me.

Lil ben has been here all wk with me...its been really fun...its more like having a lil friend than anything...she is just like him...corny jokes, high iq, big ole blue eyes and all! i wish she could be here ALL the time! anyway...she goes home tonight but she'll be bak!
He cant go but a few days w/out em here then he gets antsy! That is the one single factor about him that i lov the most! GOD! Hopefully we will add a boy or two to the list of girls one day...he's the best dad EVER!

I think people should free their minds of utter SHIT! Thats about as blount as i can be! I mean really ppl...do we ALL have to be so NEEDY! I have been described as needy before...this i know, however, the person referring to me as needy was actually in the middle of pulling his head out of his ass, so I'd say that one doesnt count! There is certainly a diff b/w clinging on to any shred of attn u can get and say..having to ask someone a question 5 times literally before they'll even acknowledge ur in the room!

BUT GOD...why do ppl continue to make the same mistakes over and over and over again simply to get attn?

god i sat here all night behind the computer, watching tv, eating everything in sight...
I feel so lazy...I do this all the time when im home alone...I do NOTHING productive. It was never like this before. I used to ONLY do productive stuff when i was home alone...

So, ive come to the conclusion that im boring. I am so lazy lately... Ben and i did go to the gym today...That was good..
I mean, its just im not used to being in a healthy relationship. I have to remember that its ok for things to be good. It doesnt mean im missing something! Like im not paying attn or something. I get bored bc im so used to things being so fd up...HOWEVER his girls keep me busy when theyre here and they are definately FUN and a positive addn to my life! I get along good w/Nichelle too... SOOOOOOOOOOO thats good...Everything is good...im so not used to this. PLUS i live on the ms gulf coast...god im soooooooooooo not used to that...lol..I feel like ive been moving around for years.
we've been living in OS for 6mths now. I am really suprised though, bc it doesnt seem like its been that long and im usually plotting to get out of town by now. BUT, its been kinda nice being able to drive and not have to take a subway or trolley bc of parking..or driving for an hr down a mile long rd. soooooo there are pluses..
My 6wk screenwriting/film production project in Spain will be just the break I need...I hope Ben gets to come for the entire time...ICANNOTWAIT
